Give Yourself A Spring Clean - New Vitamin E Skincare By Superdrug

Hey! I'm happy to reveal I have been chosen to be a Superdrug insider. As an employee I applied and my application was successful. There is 20 of us from different stores who try and review brand new products from there own brand range.

Superdrug's best selling skincare range, Vitamin E, have launched new products to the collection each of which harnesses the antioxidant power of naturally sourced Vitamin E.

This is a effective toner mist spray which can help even out oily skin whilst giving it a healthy drink of moisture. I spray it on each morning and evening as part of my cleansing routine its very refreshing. With soothing Aloe Vera it helps to instantly revitalise and tone the face whilst giving your skin a boost of moisture with each spray.

Body scrub has become an important part of my beauty routine. I try to indulge myself at least once a week I usually use soap and glory's body scrub.

This scrub is a luxuriously rich formula consisting of a blend of natural exfoliants. Sugar, sea salt and walnut shell granules to gently polish and stimulate the skin, whilst nourishing sweet almond and grapeseed oils will leave your skin feeling soft, supple and super smooth.

For me the body scrub doesn't feel to harsh which is a plus. It exfoliates your dead/dry skin and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. It doesn't have a strong lingering smell and it works well with other products from the Vitamin E collection.

A versatile,  Light weight and non greasy formula with Argan, moringa and jojoba oils to moisturise and soften skin and hair.

For me this is a great quality product at a great price. I use it everyday and find it very handy. It has improved my skin texture and doesn't sit  on your skin. Its a non greasy residue. For my hair it keeps my hair soft, de-tangled and moisturised.

Out off all the products sent to me this product is definitely my fav!

Its a triple action cleanser, mask and scrub. It has a rich, purifying and nourishing formula with Vitamin E. It effectively removes make-up and impurities fora refreshed radiant complexion.

I use it as a face mask at least once a week and use it as a face scrub in the shower every morning. It left my face feeling extremely soft and smooth and i have noticed some great changes since using it. My skin is a lot more clearer and healthier.

These micellar cleansing wipes are specially formulated to cleanse away impurities, dissolving make up and helping to remove waterproof mascara. The micellar technology cleanses, tones and helps to sooth without the need for rinsing. Enriched with Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and cucumber extract. They leave your skin feeling smooth, refreshed and perfectly primed.

I wear make-up almost everyday and I must admit sometimes i get lazy and forget to wash my face at night. These wipes are easy to reach for at the end of a busy day. They help to remove stubborn make-up and leave the skin feeling soft.

This overnight peel is formulated with a unique energising complex infused with kiwi fruit and mulberry extracts to help revive skin radiance and even out the skin tone. It also contains Glycolic acid and a fruit acid blend. The refreshing gel formula also refines and retexures the skins surface providing a brighter, more youthful complexion.

I applied a pea size amount of this gel on my face at night after cleansing and toning my face. The gel is clear and has a slight fruity scent to it. As the gel absorbed into my face I could feel my face getting slightly tighter which was great I thought. I went to sleep with the mask on washing it off the following morning. My skin felt soft, smooth and moisturised. I also had a few comments on my skin the following day at work with people saying looks really good. This peel is great and I definitely will be buying again.

Have you tried any of these product from Superdrug or anything similiar?

Majenta Beauty Cheek Colour In Shocking Pink

Hey!

Today's post is a review on Majenta Cheek Colour in Shocking Pink. For those who don't know what Majenta Beauty is, Its a make-up brand located in the UK. They have a online store with several stockists in the UK. It is a up and coming brand founded by a mother and daughter team. Their products have had great reactions in the UK at catwalk shows, road shows, in magazines and online. The brand will continue to grow both nationally and internationally.

I love this colour! It has an oil-free silky ultra-fine creamy fine powder formula. A vibrant, playful, warm and cool shade to contour the face, add cheek colour and emphasise cheek bones. Triple milled fine powders give an even long lasting professional application. It's easy to carry compact includes a mirror and natural hair blusher brush. Its also paraben free and can also be used as an eye-shadow.

It is highly pigmented as you can see from the pic above and that is just one single swipe. You defiantly need to use a very light hand to add the product on the brush and then to apply it. Making sure its blended well. The colour will not only just give you a healthy look but also help brighten up your face instantly. It has great staying power it lasted a good 7 hours on me.

What do you think?

Mac Velvet Teddy Lipstick

Through my obsession of 90's style nude lips. I recently finished my everyday nude lipstick from MAC called 'Spirit' and was browsing through their website and saw 'Velvet Teddy' was back in stock. I have heard a lot of hype surrounding this lipstick and apparently Kylie Jenner uses it to get those pretty plump lip of hers along with the whirl lip liner which I know is lie... I mean maybe she does wear this lippy but she clearly has had some kind of lip injections.

Moving on to the review...

Swatch on dark skin from left to right: Mac Honey Love, Mac Velvet Teddy, Mac Lip liner in Chestnut.

I would describe this lipstick as a creamy pinked beige. Its full coverage and is definitely my new favourite nude lipstick for the spring. The texture is great and will work with any skin tone it also has a sheen to it so it doesn't dry out your lips. Its a matte lipstick i must say other matte lipsticks i have bought from MAC tend to dry out my lips after awhile but this lipstick doesn't.

I paired the lipstick up with MAC 'Chestnut' Lip liner. I did a simple outline. Then applied the lipstick.

What is your favourite nude lip colour at the moment?

Maria xoxo
